This assignment explores digital dependency, specifically electronic addiction, in relation to the way we interact and connect with technology. In this age, it is not uncommon to be reliant on technology for various tasks and aspects of our lives. However, there can be a fine line between using technology and becoming addicted to it.

There are many different types of electronic addiction, but some of the most common include social media addiction, Internet addiction, gaming addiction, and texting addiction. These types of addiction can lead to problems with school, work, relationships, and mental health.

People who suffer from electronic addiction often display certain signs and symptoms, such as feeling anxious or irritable when not using their devices, being unable to focus or concentrate without their devices, neglecting other important activities in favor of using their devices, and using their devices more than they originally intended.

While there is no one-size-fits-all solution to overcoming electronic addiction, there are some things that can help. These include setting limits on device usage, establishing tech-free zones and times, finding other activities to do instead of using devices, and seeking professional help if necessary.

Digital dependency is becoming an increasingly prevalent issue in today's society. With the ubiquity of technology in our lives, it's not surprising that many people have become addicted to their devices. While there can be some benefits to using technology, such as staying connected with friends and family or having access to information at our fingertips, there are also drawbacks. Electronic addiction can lead to problems with school, work, and relationships. It's important to be aware of the signs and symptoms of digital dependency so that you can address the issue before it becomes a bigger problem.
