This paper discusses the impact of technology on journalism in recent years. Technology has revolutionized news production, distribution and consumption. There are many advantages to using technology in journalism such as cost savings, increased accuracy, faster delivery, better multimedia presentations and easier access to information. However, there are also some downsides such as the potential for manipulation of information by malicious actors or inaccurate reporting due to lack of fact checking.

 

In order to address these issues, it is important for journalists to use technology responsibly and utilize a critical approach when gathering and verifying data. Additionally, organizations should consider implementing ethical guidelines that allow for responsible use of technology in journalism. This paper will discuss the pros and cons of utilizing technology in journalism as well as best practices for ensuring accuracy and ethical reporting.
