Following are the five levels of managerial communication:
1. Intrapersonal communication:
Intrapersonal communication mainly focuses on reading and listening. It involves searching for important information for the organization. It also promotes the evidence of internal thoughts between individuals and different team members. It is usually the conflicting feelings and gestures of people, and it generally resolves psychological situations in an organization.
2. Interpersonal communication:
Interpersonal communication refers to providing feedback and building societal communication in the organization. Interpersonal communication has different theoretical traditions and research proposals to achieve organizational goals. It usually helps to do better communication between interpersonal groups of the organization.
3. Group communication:
Formal and informal meetings are included in group communication. Group communication influences interpersonal communication between various organization groups as group members interact in conferences and workshops about the company policies. It may have some important organizational goals, and it is an excellent interpersonal communication of team members in the organization.
4. Organizational communication:
Organizational communication refers to operating a network that focuses on a certain set of goals to achieve the organizational goals. Organizational communication has various communication channels, and it occurs the government agencies and non-profit organizations. Individuals receive various communication training that helps to work in management, public relations, marketing, media management, research, consultation, and others.
5. Intercultural communication:
It refers to the communication between different diversity and cultures in the organization. It will affect improvements in transportation, website, and telecommunication, and it includes the benefits of social group communication and cultural group communication. It involves communication problems that naturally arise in organizations, such as grapevine communication. The social environment includes people with different educational backgrounds, languages, cultures, and religious backgrounds.
