Feminism movements in different continents

This paper explores the feminist movement in different continents. In particular, it looks at the similarities and differences between the feminist movement in North America and the feminist movement in South America.

It is widely accepted that women's rights movements began in North America during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. These early feminist movements were largely concerned with issues such as property rights and voting rights for women. In contrast, the first feminist movement in South America did not emerge until the early twentieth century. This difference is largely due to the fact that women in North America were granted more legal and political rights than women in South America during this time period.

The first feminist movement in South America was known as the "White Rose" movement. This movement was started by a group of middle-class women who were concerned about the poor treatment of women in their country.
